Trimcal 4000 Body Tape Measure

The body tape measure starts at 1.75 inches to account for the small length of the tape’s plastic hook area. This ensures that the tape fits securely around the body and doesn’t cause measurement errors.

Dual-Sided Design:

The caliper offers measurement readings on both sides so it can be used effectively with either hand, ensuring versatility and ease of use for both left- and right-handed users.

The Trimcal Fat Caliper features Two Tension Springs

Balanced Pressure: The two springs help ensure that the pressure applied during measurements is even and consistent, which is key for getting reliable results when measuring skinfold thickness. One spring is responsible for the initial tension, while the second ensures that the pressure remains uniform throughout the process.

The dual-spring design reduces measurement inconsistencies, ensuring even pressure and improving the accuracy of body fat percentage readings. Overall, the dual spring design contributes to the caliper’s ability to provide accurate, repeatable measurements every time you use it.

Why the Tape Measure doesn’t start at 0 (and why that’s a good thing)

Notice the tape doesn’t start at “0”? That’s by design, not a defect. The first stretch of tape forms the loop that clips into the housing, and the curve of the housing has to be accounted for in your measurement. That’s why the tape starts at approximately 1.75 inches.
