So the bad smell is a real thing–smells a bit like the cat had an accident. I didn't buy these for yoga, I bought them to aid my senior dog walking around on my hardwood floors.

Thickness is as advertised, and stays put on the floor– my dog is doing great!

    Updating review:
Smell did dissipate after a day or two and I'm very happy with the mats. People that decide to purchase, just be prepared to air these out in a well ventilated space for a couple of days before breaking them in.

I ordered these for my small studio. There was no review to go off of, so I am posting one. These are lightweight and nice thickness. Probably good for nidra or maybe gentle, but not for hatha flows because they don't grip. Nice colors though.
